I Saw Her

I saw her just the other day.
She was wearing thoses white jeans
she wore that time we played in the dirt.
I don’t know who he is, but I think she was
wearing his shirt.
She looked good, she looked good,
she looked so good. mmmm It hurt.

She said, It’s good to see you, how ya been?
Thought I was doing fine until I saw you,
but I didn’t say that, I held it in.
My hands were shaking, I tried to smile,
but with her it was always all or nothin’.
But she looked good, she looked good,
she looked so good, mmmm Good enough for lovin’.

We talked a while and then parted.
She went her way. I went as if I had my own.
I couldn’t stop thinkin’. I just wanted to start drinkin’
but they say you shouldn’t drink alone.
She looked good, she looked good,
she looked so good, mmmm I just sat and moaned.

I tried counting my blessings.
One by one theyd come and gone,
now not a one remains.
But I don’t cry over spilt wine, in fact,
I seem to find beauty in the stains.
But she looked good, she looked good,
she looked so good, mmmm
